Nollywood producer cum marketer, Chijioke Ike, is dead.
Naija News reports that Ike’s demise was announced by his colleague, Ajemba Stanley Chibueze, better known as Stanley Ontop.
In the post via his Instagram page on Wednesday, Stanley Ontop said the filmmaker died at his home in the eastern part of Nigeria.
According to Stanley, the marketer slumped and died during a family gathering, noting that the untimely demise came as a rude shock to him, and it was so painful to hear.
The post read, “Black Day for Nollywood eastern part as we lost a vibrant Nollywood producer and marketer @globalgoldenmovies.
“This one pain me ooo. Omo waten the sup
“According to reliable source he slumped in a family meeting in his home town and kpai. May his soul rest in peace”
In other news, Nigerian skit maker, Carter Efe, has made a shocking post about leaving the earth very soon.
Naija News reports that Carter Efe, in a social media post that has caused a stir online, said he might die on 10th January.
Sharing a heartbreaking emoji, via his X handle, the skit maker wrote, “Might leave this earth January 10th.”
Reacting to the post, an X user, @YKoluwaseun, asked, “If you leave, who go dey give us mid skit?”
In response, Efe said he might sound funny until people regret losing him.
