February 28, (THEWILL) – Presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has been declared winner of the February 25 Presidential election in Niger state.
In the result announced by Prof. Clement Allawa, the Chief Returning Officer for the presidential election in the state, Tinubu polled 375,183 votes
His closest challenger, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), scored 284,898 votes. Labour Party’s (LP) Peter Obi came third with 80,452 votes.
