BREAKING: QPR, Al-Ettifaq join race to sign Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali

A number of teams, including QPR and Al-Ettifaq, are showing interest in Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali after he had an outstanding showing in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.

Both Al-Ettifaq of the Saudi Pro League and Queens Park Rangers of the EFL Championship are reportedly considering a move for the 27-year-old goalie.

The Nigerian is a top target for teams, according to Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who also said that Chippa United is open to bids during the forthcoming summer transfer window. Both QPR and Al-Ettifaq are eager to get Nwabali.

“QPR in the UK and Al Ettifaq in Saudi Arabia are two clubs that have inquired about Nigerian goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali,”

“His South African club Chippa United will consider his future move in the next months.”

Nwabali has also attracted interest from various clubs, including Royale Union Saint-Gilloise, the former club of Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface.

Despite the transfer rumors circulating online, Nwabali remains focused on his current club, Chippa United, as he awaits concrete offers.

“I only see offers online. I have never seen any offer on my table,” Nwabali added.
