BREAKING: Rasmus Hojlund Tears Into Manchester United Teammate in Europa League Win

Rasmus Hojlund came from the bench and scored twice to help Manchester United beat Viktoria Plzeň in the Europa League on Thursday night.

It was another lacklustre showing from Ruben Amorim’s side as they struggled to break down the Czech side.

Amorim was looking to bounce back after suffering back-to-back defeats in the Premier League. Andre Onana endured another torrid night after his attempt to play from the back was cut out before being turned in by Matej Vydra three minutes after the restart.

The Red Devils’ blushes were, however, spared by Hojlund, who scored in the 62nd and 88th minute to guarantee maximum points for Amorim.

Why was Hojlund angry at Amad Diallo?

The Dane striker could have bagged a hattrick in stoppage time but Amad Diallo failed to square the ball, much to his frustration.

There was a small incident after the final whistle, with Hojlund seemingly confronting his teammate for failing to pass the ball. Fans online jumped on the moment with varied takes.

@eeemz_em said,

“Hojlund still mad at Amad Diallo for not passing to him? Terrible guy scores and starts thinking he’s all that.”

Ennies Lobby said,

“How many attacks has Rasmus killed, though? It’s childish. We won the game. He scored because of Amad to begin with.”

While Dylan said,

“Rightfully so.. very poor decision-making from Amad for the goal and the chance after.”

SirLord said,

“Until these boys get to know when to pass and when to score, we are never competing for anything.”

What next for Manchester United?

Amorim will now train his focus on his first Manchester derby on Sunday before playing Tottenham next week in the Carabao Cup quarter-final.

Amorim’s warning to Rashford

Legit has also reported that Amorim fired a warning to Marcus Rashford after their loss to Nottingham Forest on December 7.

Rashford walked down straight the tunnel instead of applauding fans, a thing that ha sput him at crossroads with his new manager.
