Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, was unable to present the 2025 budget to the State House of Assembly as planned.

The situation comes after a Supreme Court ruling that ordered the suspension of federal allocations to Rivers State until the budget is properly submitted and approved.

The court’s decision added pressure on the state government to complete the budget process as soon as possible.
