BREAKING: Rivers: Tony Okocha’2027 Is A No-No For Fubara; After His Four Years, He Will No Longer Be Immune’

Rivers State’s All Progressives Congress (APC) chairman, Tony Okocha, has forewarned the governor that the law will hold him responsible for his acts once his term is done. Okocha emphasized that immunity is only transitory and that the governor will no longer be immune from judicial examination after his term in office ends in 2027.

He stated that while the Governor may currently enjoy immunity, it will not last forever. He stressed that once out of office, the true test of the Governor’s decisions and legacy will be the legal consequences that follow, revealing how his actions will be viewed by the law.

He said in a live coverage by Symfoni, “The governor should know that after his tenure, the law will test the veracity of his actions. Immunity only lasts for so long. After his four years, God willing, his time will be up, and he will no longer be immune. We will see how his actions stand in the eyes of the law. 2027 is a ‘no-no.’ It’s clear that after his time in office, there will be consequences, and that will be the real test of his actions during his tenure.”

So, while he may enjoy the protection of immunity now, it won’t last forever. The veracity of his decisions and his handling of state affairs will be scrutinized once he’s out of office. In time, we will see how his legacy holds up under the weight of the law.”
