[BREAKING] Ronaldo or Messi? Manchester United Star Amad Diallo Makes His Pick

The age-old Cristiano Ronaldo vs Lionel Messi debate is never going away.

Players, coaches, fans, and pundits have had heated debate about this GOAT debate for years, and it is always a big deal when players make their pick.

Manchester United star Amad Diallo has shared his thoughts on the debate, but his answer might anger some Red Devils supporters.

Ronaldo vs Messi debate

The two football icons were the best players in the world for more than a decade. They dominated the Ballon d’Or award from 2008 until Luka Modric ended it in 2018.

Both have scored hundreds of goals and broken records, and they have won almost every trophy in football. Many felt Messi edged his Portuguese nemesis when he won the 2022 World Cup, but based on the discussions online, it seems he didn’t.

The Man United legend left Europe and moved to Saudi Arabia, while the Argentina legend joined Inter Miami in the MLS in the USA.

“The most important thing is not to be considered the best player or to win awards. The important thing is to enjoy it and to be useful to the club and the national team,” Ronaldo said per Four Four Two.

“Records are part of me and I’m used to breaking them. I’ve felt pressure since the first day and I think I will feel it until the last.”

Amad picks between Ronaldo and Messi

The Ivorian winger is the latest player to weigh in on the endless debate. He recently participated in the knockout challenge by Sky Sports.

He picked Marcus Rashford as the best player he’s played with and Messi as his idol because he is left-footed like him. He named Wayne Rooney the best Man United player in Premier League history.

He called Ronaldo the best dribbler in Premier League history and said Neymar is his favourite winger to watch.

Finally, he was asked to pick between Ronaldo and Messi. He apologised and then selected Messi.

By acclamation, the Barcelona icon is considered the GOAT of football.

Rodri settles GOAT debate

Legit earlier reported that Rodri has chosen Manchester City teammate Kevin de Bruyne as the greatest footballer of all time ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi.

Messi and Ronaldo are arguably the most successful and popular football stars globally but De Bruyne also brags differently with his achievements with the Citizens.
