Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Monday, received the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mojisola Lasbat Meranda, and other principal officers of the House during a courtesy visit to his office in Alausa, Ikeja.
The visit, which took place ahead of the weekly State Executive Council meeting, was aimed at reaffirming the commitment to maintaining a harmonious working relationship between the executive and legislative arms of government in Lagos State.
Governor Sanwo-Olu, alongside his Deputy, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, received the Speaker and her delegation, comprising Deputy Speaker, Hon Mojeed Fatai; Majority Leader, Hon. Temitope Adedeji; Deputy Majority Leader, Hon. Richard Kasunmu; Chief Whip, Hon. Sanni Babatunde; and Deputy Chief Whip, Hon. David Setonji.
The governor and the Speaker’s delegation led by Madam Speaker, Mojisola Lasbat Meranda, reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining a harmonious working relationship between the executive and legislative arms of government in Lagos State.
