The crescent moon for the month of Ramadan 1446 was sighted today, February 28 in Saudi Arabia, officially marking the beginning of the holy month.
As a result, tomorrow, Saturday, 1st March, will be observed as the first day of Ramadan 1446.
This announcement was made by the Haramain Sharifain, confirming the sighting of the crescent moon and wishing all Muslims a blessed Ramadan.
Meanwhile, in Nigeria, the Sultanate Council in Sokoto is expected to announce the official start of Ramadan after the moon sighting in the country.
