BREAKING: Saudi & English Clubs Circle Around Nigeria Goalie Nwabali

Nigeria and Chippa United goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali is reportedly monitor by clubs in England and Saudi Arabia.

The 27-year-old played a key role in helping Nigeria to advance to the final of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations after an outstanding performance.

Kaizer Chiefs was cited as a club that was interested in the goalkeeper as a result of his performances.

According to well-known journalist Fabrizio Romano, championship team Queens Park Rangers and Saudi Pro League team Al Ettifaq have emerged as other clubs following the Super Eagles goalie.

The two clubs are said to have made enquiries about Nwabali and Chippa will look into his future.

It seems unlikely that the Chiefs will sign Nwabali given reports of interest from QPR and Al Ettifaq.

Financially speaking, it appears difficult for Amakhosi to compete for a player with both a Saudi Arabian team and a Championship club.

Amakhosi are looking for a long-time replacement for Itumeleng Khune and the Nigeria goalkeeper was thought to be the perfect candidate.

In his first game back last Friday, Nwabali gave up a goal as Chippa United and Stellenbosch drew 1-1.

After making 16 PSL appearances and managing to keep seven clean sheets, Nwabali would be eager to maintain his strong play and appealing persona.
