BREAKING: Senate summons all security chiefs over allegations of USAID funding Boko Haram

The Nigerian Senate has called on the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, and the leaders of the country’s security agencies to appear before them regarding allegations that the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) may have supported Boko Haram.

The Senate summoned the heads of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Department of State Services (DSS), Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA), and the Chief of Defence Staff, along with other top military officials.

This move comes after U.S. Congressman Scott Perry’s statement on February 13, 2025, linking USAID to the terrorist group.
