BREAKING: Southern Kaduna Celebrates As Shettima Presides Handover New FG Varsity

The Federal Government of Nigeria on Tuesday, February 11, presided over the handed over the newly established Federal University of Applied Sciences in Kachia, Kaduna in the state.

The handover of the university was done by the vice president, Kashim Shettima.

Stanley Nkwocha, the special adviser to the vice president on media and communication, in post on X said the university was established following President Bola Tinubu’s promise to establish a federal university in the Southern part of Kaduna.

Nkwocha said, “In attendance at the event were Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani; Senator Sunday Marshall Katung, representing Kaduna South; Daniel Amos, member representing the Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency.

Others are Minister of Education Tunji Alausa; Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ola Olukayode; Chief of Defence Staff General Christopher Musa; and many other dignitaries.
