BREAKING: Super Eagles to Face Ghana and Mali in Pre-World Cup Qualifier Friendlies

The Nigerian Super Eagles are set to face long-standing rivals Ghana and Mali in friendly matches later this month.

These matches are scheduled to be played in Marrakech, Morocco. The first match against Ghana is scheduled for Friday, March 22, at the Stade Grande de Marrakech.

The Super Eagles, who were finalist at the recently concluded AFCON tournament, will face off against Mali at the same location four days later.

These friendly matches serve as a warm-up for the Super Eagles as they prepare for their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and the Benin Republic in June.

In related news, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is still in the process of appointing a new head coach for the Super Eagles, following the departure of Portuguese Jose Peseiro last month.
