Jummai Musa who was a police officer who was popular around Surulere, Ogba and Maryland in Lagos State for ensuring the flow of traffic is smooth has been buried after she lost her life in a motor accident in Nasarawa on her way to her village in Gombe State.
According to one Claridan Efeurhobo’s post on Facebook, the police officer was crushed to death along with a driver and a girl by a truck from the 18 persons who boarded the bus.
The late officer according to the post has no child or husband and was praised for always being diligent and being the first in her church supporting financially and catering for the widows.
The deceased was reported to have served the Nigerian Police Force for 23 years and was not promoted duly but was able to win over 30 awards for her diligence.
In December 2022, she was awarded the traffic officer of the Year (female) at the Pan African Legacy Awards.
