Shehu Sani, a former senator for Kaduna Central, has taken on his verified Twitter page to ask for the names of persons in whose accounts trillions of naira are being paid every month as subsidies.
Recall during the inauguration day after Bola Ahmed Tinubu was sworn in that he announced the removal of fuel subsidies.
It was gathered that Tinubu’s declaration has led to an increase in panic buying with some filling stations across the country pegging the pump price of the Premium Motor Spirit to as high as N600 per litre.
The outspoken activist, Shehu Sani took to his microblogging, Twitter, some minutes ago, saying they knew where our crude oil is drilled from in the country.
Shehu Sani made it known in his statement that they also knew most petrol stations in the country.
Shehu Sani concluded his statement by asking for the name of the persons in whose accounts trillions of Naira were being paid every month as subsidies.
In his tweet, Shehu Sani wrote below:
“You know where our crude oil is drilled from, You know Petrol, you know Petrol stations; Now tell me the name of the persons in whose accounts trillions of Naira are being paid every month as subsidies.”
