BREAKING: The Hunger I Told You Last Two Years Has Not Even Started; I Won’t Tell You Lies-Rev. Fr. Mbaka

According to Sahara Reporters, the Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry Nigeria (AMEN), Fr Ejike Mbaka, has issued a stern warning to President Bola Tinubu, urging him to address the escalating insecurity and hardship in Nigeria.

During a recent homily, Mbaka cautioned that a looming wave of hunger could have devastating consequences if not tackled promptly.

He criticized Tinubu for allegedly lacking the political will to confront the country’s challenges despite overcoming numerous obstacles on his path to the presidency.

Mbaka highlighted the pervasive insecurity affecting agricultural activities, citing instances of farmers being killed by armed herdsmen. He called for meaningful engagement to avert the impending hunger crisis.

According to him, “We are asking people to go to the farm and produce; but if you enter the farm, herdsmen with AK-47s will enter the farm and kill the farmers, who will go to the farm anymore?

The Hunger I told you last two years has not even started; I won’t tell you lies; everybody should be meaningfully engaged, start something.”

Additionally, Mbaka criticized the perceived reluctance of Tinubu to challenge corruption in the oil sector, urging decisive action to dismantle entrenched interests.

The cleric urged Tinubu to prioritize the welfare of Nigerians and implement policies that promote security and prosperity.
