BREAKING: Thomas Tuchel has now decided who he would rather manage – Chelsea or Manchester United

This is according to journalist Christian Falk, who stated that it was out of Chelsea and Manchester United if the German makes a return to England.
Tuchel will be leaving Bayern at the end of this season, with it looking as if he is going to fall short of the Bundesliga title.

This is down to the brilliant work of Xabi Alonso at Bayer Leverkusen, with a number of big clubs reportedly looking at bringing him in at the end of the campaign.

While Chelsea owner Behdad Eghbali has reportedly had an interest in hiring him, it seems as if it is Bayern who are the furthest down the line to bringing him in.

It has been claimed that Tuchel is most open to a return to England, and an extraordinary report from Germany yesterday stated that he had not ruled out coming back to Stamford Bridge.

Falk has now claimed that while he can certainly a imagine a return to Chelsea, he is prioritising United if that comes up.

He said: “As reported in our Wednesday Show „Englische Woche“: Thomas Tuchel (50) can imagine returning to Chelsea. But his primary goal is Manchester United.”

Tuchel left the role of Chelsea manager early last season, with it seeming as if it was down to a breakdown in the relationship between the boss and the new owners.

With how the club have not kicked on since sacking the Champions League winner was dismissed though, there may be an appetite to make right what many see was one of the first big mistakes made since they took over. This is all of course if Mauricio Pochettino leaves the club as reports seem to hint he may be about to be.
