Former Nigerian Minister of Culture and Tourism Femi Fani-Kayode tweeted on his official X handle (formerly known as Twitter) that people of freedom are those who have supported the people of Gaza during this difficult time.
“God is a God of mercy, love, compassion, and justice,” the essayist, who has recently become vocal against Gaza, wrote.
FFK continued his statement, which read, “He (God) does not approve of the shedding of innocent blood, the murder of widows and orphans, the persecution of the defenseless, or the oppression of the weak.
As regarding the people who have stood and shown support for Gaza, he wrote, “Those that stand with the women and children of Gaza are the sons and daughters of freedom and light.
On the people that are against Gaza, he wrote, “Those that stand with the Zionists of Israel that are bombing and killing them and that have occupied their land are the sons and daughters of darkness and the children of bondage and perdition.
Regarding people who are not supporting or against, he wrote, “Those that sit on the fence in this conflict are the enemies of humanity and the enablers of genocide and are therefore accursed.

He added that “the Israelis must take note of the fact that for every woman and child that is slaughtered in Gaza, there will be a day of reckoning.
