
President Bola Tinubu has appointed Saviour Enyiekere as the chairman of the National Assembly Service Commission (NASC).
The announcement was made on Thursday by Bayo Onanuga, the president’s special adviser on information and strategy.
Enyiekere, an environmental specialist, previously served as the deputy chief of staff to Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
He will hold the position for a five-year term, which may be renewed.
Along with Enyiekere, Tinubu also appointed two members from each of Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones to serve on the commission.
Like the chairman, they will also have a five-year term with the possibility of renewal.
