BREAKING: Tinubu Celebrates Kehinde Bamigbetan at 60, Praises His Contributions to Media and Governance

President Bola Tinubu has celebrated former Commissioner of Information in Lagos State and ex-chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Kehinde Bamigbetan, as he marks his 60th birthday.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President praised Bamigbetan for his “unique interest in community development and the promotion of inclusivity” and commended his dedication to journalism, governance, and grassroots development.
“The President joins the family, friends, and associates of the renowned journalist, publisher, and political consultant in celebrating the milestone, already marked by many notable achievements and recognitions,” the statement read.
Highlighting Bamigbetan’s media influence, Tinubu acknowledged his role in fostering better communication between the government and the public through his platform, Echonews.
Tinubu also commended Bamigbetan’s extensive career in media and politics, noting his pivotal roles as a former chairman and vice chairman of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Chief Press Secretary, and Special Adviser to the Minister of Solid Minerals Development, celebrating Bamigbetan’s willingness to “continuously serve in leadership positions.”
As Bamigbetan reaches this milestone, Tinubu offered prayers for his continued health and service, asking that God will “grant him a longer life to serve the country and humanity.”
