BREAKING: ‘Tinubu Knows Govt Has Failed You’

Special Adviser to the President on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, has said Bola Tinubu is working to address the failure of past governments.

Naija News reports that Bwala made this known while reacting to a recent interview of Nigerian singer, Panshak Zamani, famously known as Ice Prince.

The ‘Aboki’ crooner, while speaking on the ‘Listen’ podcast, said his life took a challenging turn after losing his mother at the age of 21, having already experienced the loss of his father at the young age of 11.

Ice Prince disclosed that he worked various menial jobs to support himself through school but did not attend university due to a lack of N20,000.

He said, “I was the guy that spent at least three weeks at home every term because of school fees. I didn’t go to the University because of N20,000. I had about two weeks to pay that money but I couldn’t raise it on time. That was how I lost the admission.”

Reacting to the interview in a post via X, Bwala said that President Tinubu’s student loan is one initiative that addresses the issue of school dropout.

According to him, the student loan initiative ensures that no Nigerian young people are disenfranchised from achieving their dreams of higher education.

He wrote, “Now, this is where Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu comes in.

“He knows government has failed you in the past, but the student loan, like every other initiative of the Renewed Hope administration, is here to put smiles on your faces and take significant burdens off of our parents.

“His well thought-out student loan initiative is ensuring that no Nigerian young people are disenfranchised from achieving their dreams of higher education; that sons and daughters of market women, farmers, and artisans can get quality and affordable education and compete favourably with Children of the elites.

“This is one of the ideals of the Renewed Hope administration. This is what the President intends to achieve, and that’s what the
@NELFUND has been doing effectively since creation by this administration.”
