Former Kaduna Governor Nasir El-Rufai confirmed a coalition between ex-VP Atiku Abubakar and Labour Party’s Peter Obi to challenge President Tinubu in 2027.

Speaking at Arewa TechFest, he revealed their meeting to unite support under the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

The coalition aims to gather political, civil, and technocratic backing across Nigeria. El-Rufai also noted that they will retain Minister Bosun Tijani for his good work.

This alliance signals a reconciliation among former rivals, potentially posing a strong challenge in the upcoming election. ADC’s leadership affirmed it will be the coalition’s platform.
