BREAKING: Tinubu’s Latest Appointment Wins Katsina Governor’s Approval

Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing two Katsina indigenes to key leadership roles at the Sokoto-Rima River Basin Development Authority (SRRBDA).

Badru Muntaka Ahmed, a veteran banking executive with over 20 years of experience, has been named Executive Director of Agricultural Services.

Governor Radda highlighted Badru’s expertise, stating, “His proven track record in managing complex regional operations and agricultural financing will be invaluable to the Authority’s mission.”

Badru, an Ahmadu Bello University alumnus with a background in agricultural education, previously oversaw operations in seven northern states as the Group Head of North III.

Abubakar Ibrahim Dutsin-ma has been appointed Executive Director of Finance, bringing a wealth of public sector experience.

As Mandate Secretary for Agriculture and Rural Development, he led key ministerial committees, including the Committee on Sales of Fertilizer.

Currently pursuing an MBA in Agribusiness Management at the Rome Business School, Abubakar’s contributions were commended by Governor Radda, who said, “His leadership and expertise will significantly enhance the Authority’s financial operations.”

“These appointments demonstrate President Tinubu’s commitment to selecting individuals with technical expertise and deep regional insights,” Radda remarked.

On behalf of the Katsina State Government, Governor Radda congratulated the appointees, expressing confidence in their ability to advance the Federal Government’s agricultural transformation agenda.

He concluded, “This recognition of Katsina’s human capital underscores our state’s vital role in national development.”
