Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima has commended the management of ROXETTES MOTORS for its innovative approach to tackling Nigeria’s transportation and energy challenges.

The Vice President’s comments came during a courtesy visit from Dr. Kaycee Orji, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of ROXETTES MOTORS.

According to a statement from the Media Relations Office of ROXETTES MOTORS, Shettima acknowledged the crucial role of supporting local businesses in fostering economic diversification and sustainable development.

He expressed a strong interest in how these technologies could revolutionise urban mobility and public transportation throughout the country.

Orji’s meeting with Shettima focused on Green Automotive Innovation and National Development, where he outlined strategies to transform Nigeria’s automotive and industrial sectors.

The dialogue underscored the significance of innovation, sustainability, and collaboration in addressing critical national issues.

The meeting acted as a platform to explore new methods for expediting Nigeria’s transition to cleaner energy, modernising its transportation infrastructure, and generating employment through advanced technology and industrial growth.

Orji stated, “ROXETTES MOTORS, a leader in Nigerian automotive innovation, is at the forefront of promoting the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) and compressed natural gas (CNG)-powered vehicles.”

He emphasised the company’s steadfast commitment to reducing carbon emissions while enhancing local manufacturing and industrialisation.

“Our vision is to position Nigeria as a global leader in renewable energy and sustainable transportation by leveraging local talent and developing innovative solutions that benefit all Nigerians,” Dr. Orji remarked during the meeting.

Orji presented ROXETTES MOTORS’ flagship range of vehicles, which includes cutting-edge electric and CNG-powered models.

“These vehicles are designed to diminish the nation’s dependency on fossil fuels, decrease emissions, and align with global sustainability trends,” he explained.

The CEO elaborated on the progress of the company’s projects in Obuaku City, Abia State, where ROXETTES MOTORS is developing a flourishing industrial hub. Key initiatives include:
