With the reported passing of well-known Yoruba actor Tolani Quadri Oyebamiji, better known by his stage name Sisi Quadri, the Nigerian entertainment world is once again in mourning.
The actor, who was well-known for using derogatory dialogue in films, gained notoriety for his distinct approach to acting and speaking in the voice of a woman. Reports state that Sisi Quadri, an Osun State native from Iwo, passed away at his hometown.
Born on 26th of December, 1979, the actor who started out as a fashion designer before venturing into full-time acting died at the age of 44 and is succeeded by four children. His death was made known to the public by some of his colleagues in the Yoruba movie industry on social media. Nigerians and Nollywood stars have continued to express their shock over the sad news.
