Speaking after supervising the demolition of the fourth property of the kidnapping suspects, Special Adviser to Governor Monday Okpebholo on Security Affairs, Mr Akhere Paul, stated that the governor will not relent until the kidnapping ends in the Edo State.
“My advice to everybody is that there is no peace for the wicked. Those still kidnappers should know the government will not stop. Your time will come and we will come for you. We will chase them, continue to chase them and we will continue to bring their houses down,” he said.
Also speaking, the Commander of the Task Force, SP Michael Anetor, noted that the suspects, who belong to a gang of five, had confessed to the crime.
Anetor, while narrating how the suspects were apprehended, said, “This guy called Oboh is a kidnapper. He has confessed to the crime, and I personally have interviewed him, he told me he has only followed them once, with a guy called Palmer, who we have also demolished his house.
“I am advising those who are watching what is going on now, and still have intentions to do crime; the governor is not going to rest, and we at the Task Force, are ready to work round the clock until they stop kidnapping in Edo State.”
