BREAKING: ‘You’re a courageous reformer, Senate leader eulogises Tinubu at 73

President Bola Tinubu has been described as a courageous reformer who is fearless and optimistic about driving the future of Nigeria.

This description of the president was given by Opeyemi Bamidele, the Senate Majority Leader on the celebration of President Tinubu’s 73rd birthday celebration.

Bamidele in a statement issued on Saturday, March 29, said the president in the past 22 months, since assuming office, has brought great change to the country’s economy.

The statement issued by the Directorate of Media and Public Affairs said Tinubu’s economic team has successfully redirected the economy from the path of regression.

The Senate Leader also said that he is optimistic that Nigeria’s economy will become globally competitive with the reforms laid down by the president.

“I truly celebrate the 16th President of Nigeria and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR as he graciously turns 73 today. He is on the path of charting a path for our country.

“The President is no doubt a courageous reformer, fearless patriot and an incurable optimist, who never bothers about reelection, but about the next generation. Since he assumed office 22 months ago, he has focused on implementing key reforms that are now restoring stability to and confidence in the economy,” Bamidele said.
