Addressing the recipient and her colleagues at the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Secretariat in Patani, Ogbuka encouraged them to take advantage of the promotion by opening an account with Fidelity Bank.

“We want people to benefit from our promotions. By opening a Fidelity Personal Savings Account, you stand a chance to be rewarded,” he stated.

Speaking to journalists on the sidelines, Ogbuka explained that the Get Alert In Millions Season Six “Youth Empowerment” promotion was launched in December 2024 and is set to run for eight months.

According to him, the Youth Empowerment aspect of the campaign is designed specifically for Corps members.

“As part of the promotion, Corps members who open an account with us during their orientation camp, where their monthly allowances are deposited, become eligible for the draws.

“The raffle draws are conducted quarterly, and the most recent one, held in February, produced today’s winner,” he explained.

Ogbuka outlined the key requirement for participation, stating that prospective customers must open a savings account with the bank and deposit either N5,000 or N10,000 per month to qualify for the draws.

He noted that the bank has made significant strides in rewarding its customers, adding that the Get Alert In Millions initiative has become a recognised brand of Fidelity Bank.

The regional sales coordinator reassured both existing and new customers that they all have an equal opportunity to win through the promotion.

Ogbuka urged the public to take part in the initiative, pointing out that increasing their savings enhances their chances of winning.

In response, Ms Adamu expressed her gratitude to both Fidelity Bank and God for the unexpected win.

“This is a complete surprise to me; I never saw it coming. I am truly grateful to God and to Fidelity Bank through the NYSC Entrepreneurship Grant Programme. I will always appreciate this gesture,” she said.

Adamu encouraged others to remain dedicated and diligent in their pursuits, while also praying for wisdom in managing the cash prize responsibly.

In his remarks, Mr Isaac Aguanah, Chairman of Patani Local Government Area, extended his appreciation to Fidelity Bank for the initiative.

“I am pleased that positive developments are taking place during my tenure as chairman. Fidelity Bank has contributed to this, and I am confident that more Corps members will emerge as winners in the future,” he said.
