BREAKING: Youths Minister, Olawande, Hails Lookman, Nnadozie, Super Falcons

The Minister of Youths Development, Ayodele Olawande, has praised Ademola Lookman, Chiamaka Nnadozie and Nigeria’s senior women’s football team, Super Falcons, for the victories at last night’s Confederation of African Football (CAF) Awards.

Naija News reported that Atlanta Striker, Lookman, won CAF Player of the Year, Paris FC Goalkeeper, Nnadozie, won CAF’s Goalkeeper of the Year (Women), and Super Falcons won CAF’s National Team of the Year (Women).

In a statement on Tuesday, Olawande described the victories of the country’s nominees as outstanding achievements.

The Minister of Youths said the victories are testaments to hard work and exceptional talents of Nigeria youths

“These remarkable accomplishments are a testament to the hard work and exceptional talent of Nigerian youth,” he said.

He stressed that the success of Team Nigeria at the CAF Award not only reflected dedication but also served as a source of inspiration for other young Nigerians around the world.

According to him, these achievements highlighted the resilience and potential of Nigerian youths, demonstrating that with unwavering determination, greatness can indeed be achieved.

The Minister assured of his support to advance youth talents, promising to deliver the right environment for youth potential to thrive.

Meanwhile, former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, on his X handle, congratulated the CAF Player of the Year, Lookman.
