The announcement of the limited-edition sauce was accompanied by a video of the Arsenal player as a head chef in the kitchen.
Bukayo Saka has unveiled his own peri-peri sauce.
The Arsenal forward partnered with Nando’s, the South African multinational fast-food chain to make it possible.
The product, named Peri-peri Saka, was announced on the Instagram page of the fast-food franchise on Tuesday.
In the clip, Saka orders a team of chefs in the kitchen as he calls out for “more tomatoes” and “more garlic” to be added to the sauce.
According to The Independent, Saka said his father “was a fan” of Nando’s, and he has patronised the franchise since he was a kid.
“The sauce mixes sweet, spiciness and smokiness. I love it and can’t wait for everyone to try it,” the Arsenal player said.
“I’ve been going to Nando’s since I was little so to have my own Peri-Peri sauce in every restaurant in the country is quite mad.
“My family’s really important to me, so I wanted to make sure they liked it too. As soon as my dad said he was a fan, I knew it was the one.”
