Bwala Responds After Tinubu Said No Ransom Would Be Paid To Bandits For The Release Of Abducted Pupils

Politician and attorney Daniel Bwala responded to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s declaration that bandits would not receive a ransom for the release of kidnapped students in Kaduna.

Daniel Bwala said in a post on Thursday on his official X handle that the president’s announcement is a calculated attempt to reveal three things.

He listed the three things as; terrorism financing, sponsors of crisis economy and possible rogue security personnel who benefit from such criminal enterprise. Daniel Bwala stated that in the previous administration, terrorists were using ransom to procure sophisticated weapons for terrorism. He said the United Arab Emirates even exposed some sponsors of terrorism.

He wrote on his page;

“The directive by Mr President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu that henceforth no ransom would be paid to bandits is a strategic move to expose three things; terrorism financing, sponsors of crisis economy, and possible rogue security personnel who benefit from such criminal enterprise”.
