Christian Genocide Alert: Ex-DSS Director Urges Nigerian Govt to Address Trump’s Military Threat
A former Director of the Department of State Services (DSS), Mike Ejiofor, has called on the Federal Government to take seriously the recent threat of military action issued by United States President Donald Trump over alleged killings of Christians in Nigeria.
Ejiofor appealed on Tuesday, speaking in an interview, where he urged the government to immediately engage diplomatic channels to manage the situation and avoid any negative implications.
“I think the Federal Government should take Donald Trump seriously. I’m calling on the Nigerian government to explore all diplomatic channels,” he said.
Last week, Trump, in a post on his Truth Social platform, accused Nigeria of allowing the mass killing of Christians and warned of possible military intervention.
He also announced that Nigeria had been redesignated as a “Country of Particular Concern” (CPC) over alleged religious persecution.
