By believing that the Muslim/Muslim ticket was to blame for Bola Tinubu’s victory in the recently held presidential election, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, the immediate past governor of Kaduna State, has a problem, according to the chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria’s Kaduna Branch, Rev John Joseph Hayab.
Speaking further, he said that everyone was aware that Bola Tinubu’s victory was the result of widespread Christian voting, pointing out that Bola Tinubu won in the Christian-majority states of Benue and Rivers.
During an appearance with Arise Television, Rev. Hayab made this announcement and said that God had made El-Rufai’s true identity known to Nigerians.
“Even thinking that Asiwaju’s (Tinubu’s) victory is a Muslim thing shows the problem with the man called El-Rufai,” he remarked. His issue is his pretence that everyone recognised that Asiwaju’s election was the result of a collective Christian vote, regardless of what they are fighting in the Inn court.
Additionally, he added that El-Rufai has now been exposed by God, letting it be known that Nigerians now understand who the true former governor of Kaduna State is.
It should be remembered that Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, the recently-resigned governor of Kaduna State, said in a statement that the country doesn’t need Christian votes to win elections.
