Excitement as ESCET Holds Grand Opening and launching ceremony of College Demonstration School

Determined to provide quality education that would result in the all round development of the child, the Enugu state College of Education Technical (ESCET), today will hold grand opening and launching ceremony of the ESCET Demonstration School.

The official ceremony which is scheduled to hold today, 9th day of November, 2023, at the new school site is targeted at ensuring proper development of our pupils.

The Grand opening ceremony is in line with the vision and dreams of the present Provost of the college, Dr. Mrs Stella Ekwueme, to produce pupils who could cope with academic and life challenges in any school they gain admission into.

In a statement released by the school management and sighted by Enugupress.ng, the college however, stated that the ceremony will mark the beginning of greater things to come in the college.

Excerpts from the statement reads: “Dear Members of the ESCET College Community.

“We are thrilled to extend our heartfelt invitation to the grand opening and launching ceremony of the ESCET Demonstration School. This significant event will take place on November 9, 2023, starting at 2.30 pm at the new school site.

“We cordially invite each member of our esteemed college community to join us on this momentous occasion.Your presence and participation are invaluable as we come together to pray for a new beginning and witness the commencement of ESCET’s pet project.

“Your contribution will serve as a vital instrument in the construction and growth of the school. Your attendance will mark the inception of a new chapter in ESCET’s history.

“Let us unite and celebrate this auspicious moment in ESCET’s journey.

“We eagerly anticipate your company on this joyous day as we embark on this promising venture. Long Live ESCET FAMILY,” it read.

In an interaction with one of the present management official in the college who pleaded for anonymity, he praised the present administration in the higher institution for their tireless efforts in ensuring that the school is returned to the vision of its founding fathers.

The official used the opportunity to irhe the general public to disregard the recent blackmail, being circulated on social media, with the purpose of ruining the efforts of the current provost, who he described as the biblical Daniel on the saddle of the college.

“The present administration led by Dr. Mrs Stella Ekwueme, has done well since taking over in the school, few months ago.

“I just want the public to disregard whatever blackmail being speculated on the social media. It is the handiwork of her enemies,” he said
