Nwana, who is also the Director of Brian’s Abuja Food Quest, disclosed this while briefing newsmen on Monday in Abuja.

He said that the move was in line with his business promotion and would open up more business opportunities for the owners such restaurants.

According to Nwana, the present record, set in 2023, is being held by an American, who visited 100 restaurants within 24 hours in New York City.

He said he intended to break the record by visiting over 165 restaurants across Gwarimpa, Maitama and Wuse taking off on Wednesday.

“I will start the attempt on Wednesday at Chicken Republic, 1st Avenue in Gwarinpa; then move to Wuse 2, where my team members and I will camp in the night; then end the quest on Thursday, April 25, at a restaurant at Central Business District at 5pm.’’

He said the mission would be using the power of social media to showcase foods from various restaurants for more patronage by Nigerians.

Nwana urged Abuja residents to come out en masse and support him to break the GWR as he would be trekking over 20 kilometers with his team across the three chosen areas as part of the requirements by the GWR.

According to him, using cars or unrecognised public transportation system is prohibited by GWR.

On his part, Rhoda Kusimo, the Chief Executive Officer, A.S. Management Agency (the management company behind the quest), said the expedition would help to put Abuja businesses on the global map as many of them were presently not known beyond their localities.

The Project Manager, Edoh Franklin, said the team had applied to the GWR and would follow all the rules and regulations recommended by the GWR, especially with regards to live tracking and map.

The Chief Executive Officer, Kaine Kranda Show, Kaine Kranda, said there were several attempts by many Nigerians to break different records after Hilda Bacci which had begun to look like abuse of the process.

“Nwana’s case is different as he will be walking amidst risks of vehicular and human traffic,’’ she said.

More so, the Head of Security for Project, Pollyn Fubara, said he had put measures in place to ensure adequate security for the team and fans.

He said he had made arrangements with security agencies to provide security for the activities; especially as the team would be walking deep into the night.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>
