The National Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the South-West, Isaac Kekemeke, has disclosed the reason the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party,(PDP) Atiku Abubakar, left APC
Naija News reports Kekemeke said this in Ibadan on Wednesday at a press briefing where the formation of some committees of the APC in the South-West was announced.
According to him, Atiku left the ruling APC because he was frustrated after his inability to understand the party.
Kekemeke Added that the APC would show Atiku who boasted that the PDP would take over South West in 2023, that some of them in the party know the PDP and its strategies very well.
He assured all aspirants that the APC remains strong in the South-West zone and will win more states to its fold in 2023.
He also called on those who contested and did not win elective positions during the party primaries to join the rest of the party to work for the success of the party’s candidates in all elections in 2023.
Kekemeke said, “If His Excellency, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and presidential flag bearer of the PDP thinks he knows the APC because he was here, my answer is, many of us in APC knows the PDP more than he thinks he knows the APC.
