FFK Says Peter Obi’s Supporters Should Prepare For Defeat In 2023 Presidential Race, See Why

Former Aviation Minsiter, Femi Fani Kayode, disclosed that supporters of Peter Obi, who are famously known as Obidient, should prepare for defeat in the 2023 presidential election. The former Aviation Minister emphasizes in his latest write up that only anger won’t fuel a revolution as there must be a goal.

Fani Kayode added that despite taking Obidients seriously because of their formidable movement, “they are more like a loose cannon than a guided missile”.

He did, however, applaud the youths for taking politics seriously. He also prayed for Peter Obi’s supporters to be able to cope with their loss, even if their impact at the polls next year will be minimal.

FFK said that Obidients seem to lack a clear purpose because their leader, Peter Obi apart from wanting to be the next president of Nigeria, he is not capable of providing.

He expressed concern over their “high expectations”, adding that “mental trauma might engulf them after crushing defeat”.

Fani-Kayode ruled out Labour Party (PDP) candidates’ chances of victory in the February and March contests, citing the well grounded opponents they will face.

He added that he is not sure if the Labour Party can be successful enough to win a seat in the House of Senate, House of Representatives, and Governorship election.

He went on to disclose that in the coming election, they will get to know if the discussion has been from men and women or mete children venting on social media platforms.

He said, “It is at that time that we shall find out whether they are men and women or mere children venting on social media and expressing frustrations at public events.”

Fani-Kayode added that it is only after Obi and LP’s followers have suffered loss that their resolve will be tested. Femi Fani Kayode is formerly an aviation minister.
