Following Man United’s 4-3 defeat at Parken, the current Group A table

Rasmus Hojlund scored his second goal of the game in the 28th minute when Manchester United launched a counterattack. A minute later, the goalie for Copenhagen almost missed a hat-trick.

The match took another twist as Marcus Rashford was sent off for serious foul play in the 42nd minute, reducing Manchester United to ten men. Copenhagen seized the opportunity, scoring two minutes later and earning a penalty in the dying minutes of the first half (45+7 minutes). Diogo Gonclaves calmly converted the spot-kick, leveling the game at 2-2 as the first half concluded.

The second half continued the drama, with Harry Maguire’s header resulting in a penalty for Manchester United in the 66th minute, which Bruno Fernandes expertly dispatched to give the Red Devils a 3-2 lead in the 67th minute. However, Copenhagen fought back, equalizing in the 82nd minute and ultimately taking the lead in the 88th minute to secure a 4-3 victory.
