Four killed in Zamfara as bandits storm palace of Emir of Maru again

Four people have reportedly died after they were attacked by bandits in Maru, Zamfara State.

Recall that gunmen stormed the Palace of Emir of Maru, Abubakar Maigari, in Maru local government area of the state on Tuesday, October 24, and police thwarted the attack.

Sadly, one person was killed. The deceased has been identified as Mallam Ukashatu, a physically challenged man living beside the palace.

An IT officer was also abducted by the bandits.

Then, on Thursday night, Oct. 26, the terrorists are said to have returned to the palace in search of the Emir.

They did not find him so they stormed houses in the area looking for him and they killed four people in the process.

Funeral prayers for the dead have been conducted today, Oct. 27, according to Islamic injunction.
