Super Eagles striker Taiwo Awoniyi is attracting attention due to his tricky contract situation at Nottingham Forest.
The 28-year-old joined the Tricky Trees from Union Berlin in 2022, but he has had a rollercoaster period at the City Ground.
Although he played a key role in helping Nottingham Forest avoid relegation during his first two seasons, recurring injuries have significantly hampered his progress.
Since his transfer, the former Liverpool forward has missed 56 games for club and country, a factor that ultimately cost him his place in the starting eleven.
