On Wednesday, January 15, 2025, the governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed sworn in eight new commissioners into his cabinet.
The governor while addressing the new commissioners said their appointment was made based on trust to handle the tasks before them.
He said, “You have a duty to God and an obligation as fellow human beings, because one day you will account for your stewardship, if not in this world, then in the world hereafter.
“Do not therefore be tempted to abuse the trust entrusted to you. You are to serve the people and not be their masters,” he added.

6. Dr. Liyasu Aliyu Gital (Agriculture)
7. Alhaji Abdullahi Mohammed (Lands and Survey)
8. Dr. Lawal Mohammed Rimin Zayam (Education)
