Shooting Stars FC’s head coach, Gbenga Ogunbote faced the press in a post-match interview following his team’s narrow 2-1 defeat to table-toppers Lobi Stars in the NPFL.

Expressing his sentiments on the result, Ogunbote remarked, “Sometimes you put in so much, and you do not get what you deserve. I think in this game at worst, we deserve a point. But unfortunately, it came the other way around. And I think we were a little bit careless with the penalty we conceded. So, that’s one of those things. We take the positive.”

And you should see them as a good side, as at present they are occupying the first position. They are not a bad side. And you have seen them play.”
In addressing questions about officiating, Ogunbote adhered to his consistent stance. “You should know me by now that I don’t talk about officiating; I accept all officiating the way it comes.”
