The Peoples Democratic Party’ s national chairman, Dr. Iyorchia Ayu, has asked Senator Adolphus Wabara, the head of the board of trustees, to get in touch with the party’ s disgruntled members in an effort to help resolve the issue.
Reacting to the current crisis in the party, the former governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose stated that he thought the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) conflict would be resolved before the 2023 elections.
Meanwhile, while PDP is trying to unite the party, Mr. Valentine Ozigbo, a chieftain of the Labour Party, LP, the party leadership is preparing plans to persuade Nyesom Wike, governor of the state of River, as well as other influential PDP and APC leaders, to support Mr. Peter Obi, the party’ s presidential candidate, and his vice presidential candidate, Alhaji Yusuf Datti- Ahmed, in the upcoming general election in 2023.
