Oladele Bankole-Balogun has been appointed as the executive chairman of the Edo State Board of Internal Revenue by Governor Monday Okpebholo.
Announcing the appointment, Umar Ikhilor, the Secretary to the State Government in a statement said other executive directors of the board are Deacon Idiake Patrick Akhimien (representing Edo Central), Hon. Mike Ohio Ezomo (representing Edo North) and Hon. Engr. Jackson Eribo (representing Edo South).
“It is hereby announced for the information of the general public, Senator Monday Okpebholo, Governor of Edo State, has approved the nomination of Oladele Bankole-Balogun for appointment as Executive Chairman, Edo State Board of Internal Revenue.
“Bankole-Balogun, born in hails from Igarra in Akoko-Edo, obtained his education in the University of Ibadan (BSc Hons Political Science 1984); University of London (LLB Hons Law); College of Law, Store Street, London (Postgraduate Diploma Law),” the statement said.
A member of the Law Society of England and Wales, the Nigeria Bar Association, the International Bar Association and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK), the new revenue board chairman has worked in different spheres of human endeavours.
Other members appointed as Executive Directors into the Edo State Board of Internal Revenue are Deacon Idiake Patrick Akhimien (representing Edo Central), Hon. Mike Ohio Ezomo (representing Edo North) and Hon. Engr. Jackson Eribo (representing Edo South).
