Shocking video footage has emerged following a horrifying stabbing incident at Ysgol Dyffryn Aman school in Ammanford, Wales. The attack, which occurred on Wednesday afternoon, left three individuals injured, including a female teacher and at least one female student.
The disturbing footage, widely shared on social media, depicts two girls lying on the ground in an outdoor area of the school. As staff members rush to assist one of the girls, a boy’s voice can be heard exclaiming, “That girl’s got stabbed!”
Chaos ensued as teachers attempted to clear the area of horrified students. Multiple police cars and two air ambulance helicopters descended upon the school, while parents reported a heavy police presence and air ambulances landing near the playing fields.
Police confirmed the arrest of a lone suspect and stated that they were not seeking any further individuals in connection with the incident. They also urged individuals to refrain from speculating during the ongoing investigation.
School governor Cllr Karen Davies expressed shock and concern, stating, “I have been informed that two members of staff have been stabbed, but I do not have confirmation on the severity of their injuries. My thoughts are with the victims and everyone affected.”
