Oscar-winning actor Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy Arakawa, have been discovered dead in their New Mexico residence, according to multiple media reports on Thursday.
Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza confirmed that authorities found the couple’s bodies on Wednesday afternoon.
While the cause of death remains unclear, Mendoza stated that there were no immediate signs of foul play, as reported by The Santa Fe New Mexican, Variety, and Sky News.
