I Am An Independent Member Of The People’s Democratic Party; I Don’t Flip-Flop—Bode George

Prominent PDP member Chief Bode George has made it clear that he will always support the opposition party. He emphasised his commitment as a ‘irredentist’ member of the PDP and firmly declared that he would not engage in any political backtracking. In response to a query regarding whether or not he would be open to working with President Tinubu in the event that such an opportunity presented itself, Chief Bode George made these statements.

Chief Bode George declared in an interview with Arise TV that he would protect the party’s honour and refrain from doing anything that goes against the party’s constitution.

According to him, “I (Bode George) belong to the opposition party. I don’t flip-flop. I’m an iredentist member of this great party, and I’ll continue to state emphatically that the APC is not a real political party. It’s a congregation of strange bird fellows. You know, the PDP has the full colours of this country, from the swampy forest to the Savannah region in the North. When you keep asking whether I’ll like to work with at my age, what am I looking for? I can’t. I don’t have that strength anymore to be running around the villa or anything. We have younger people, but our party will be meeting soon, and the decision will be taken as a party. As a strong member of the party, I won’t do anything outside the dictates of our party.
