Afrobeats star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has engaged in a light-hearted exchange with Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, playfully declaring that he “beat” the minister’s side in a recent viral video.
The exchange occurred on Thursday when Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, visited Wike in Abuja.
In a video posted on Instagram by @OfficialPrinceNwauzor on Friday, Davido, dressed in brown traditional attire, was seen repeatedly telling Wike, “I won. I beat you guys,” while the minister disputed the claim.

Wike, who was seated in a white shirt, responded with a smile, saying, “No, no.”
Davido insisted, “I won! I beat you.”
“You beat us?” Wike asked.
“I beat you,” Davido repeated.
Background voices could be heard saying, “I beg o,” as laughter filled the room.
The playful exchange ended with Davido prostrating before Wike before moving in to embrace him, prompting cheers, applause and more laughter from those present.
Adeleke had earlier visited President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa before proceeding to meet Wike.
