“I Got My Six-Pack From Hunger and Hard Labour”: Rema Opens Up About Life Before Fame

In an interview that surfaced online, the Calm Down crooner said he had been through years of hard labour while he was in Benin and Ghana.

According to the singer, who splurged millions on two cars, he added that years of fetching water, and going hungry because he had nothing to eat also contributed to him developing a natural six packs.

Speaking about his music and 2022 album, Rave and Roses, he explained that he got inspiration from colors and the state of his mind.

Speaking further, the singer, who boasted about his name being in the Afrobeat bible said that he loves art a lot. He would go to the art gallery when he travels out just to check out the lovely designs they have.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had reported that Rema had said some people do copy his style. The 23-year-old artist granted an interview with Rolling Stone where he claimed people copied him without giving him credit.

He said that he knows the number of people who do that. According to him, he was flattered by the fact that people consider him worthy to be copied.

Rema praised himself for bringing something new to the table, that was worthy of emulation.
Legit.ng had reported that Rema had been battling a health challenge of which some of his fans were not aware of.

He admitted that he had to use medicated glass during the red carpet of the BRIT Award to help enhance his vision.
