Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder of Living Faith Church, has stressed the importance of open accountability for all general overseers and founders of ministries. He shared this in a sermon during the September edition of the Leadership Empowerment Summit.
The man of God revealed that when he was the one handling the church’s finances, he kept the receipts for every transaction made in the church’s name.
“I have never been asked where is this money,” he said. “I kept all the receipts of church money. Including Toll gate receipt.”
He urged all founders and general overseers to accept open accountability for the success and preservation of their ministries.
He shared how when they have meetings, everyone has hardcopies of whatever accounts they need to give.
